Legal counselling to foreigners by NGO Counselling Centre for Citizenship / Civil and Human Rights

NGO Counselling Centre for Citizenship / Civil and Human Rights (Poradna pro občanství / Občanská a lidská práva) offers its legal advice to foreigners individually every Wednesday from 10a.m. to 5p.m., as well as on the website www.diskriminace.cz in the section "Cizinci" (Foreigners).
Starting 1 January 2009 language exams for foreingers will condition permanent residency

In relation with the amendment of Law No. 326/1999 Col., on residence of foreigners in the Czech Republic, there will be obligatory exams for demonstration of Czech language competency for obtaining permanent residency in the Czech Republic starting 1 January 2009.
